Delta Dental’s Language Assistance program (LAP) provides free language assistance to Delta Dental members with limited proficiency in English. LAP services include:

Delta Dental website in Spanish

Shop for plans, find a dentist, and browse our wellness library on the Spanish website. Online member services are not available in Spanish.

Get phone assistance in more than 170 languages.

Face-to-face interpretive services 

Interpretive services, including American Sign Language (ASL), available at your dentist’s office. To schedule, call Delta Dental’s customer service at least 72 hours before your appointment. 

Document translation

Written materials, such as your plan’s benefits, can be made available in non-English languages and other accessible formats. 

Dentist directories

Our online dentist directory includes the self-reported languages of contracted dentists and staff who speak languages other than English. 

If you are having trouble communicating with your dentist, call Delta Dental and we will arrange for a qualified interpreter to help you via telephone.
