We give you exposure to the nation’s largest dental insurance customer base, provide easy administration, pay you directly when treating Delta Dental patients and provide quick, accurate claims processing—so you’ll be paid promptly and easily.

These are our fee-for-service plans.

Compensation

Receive payment based on the fee schedule, maximum contract allowance or amount submitted to Delta Dental, whichever is lower.

States included in our networks

AL, CA, DC, DE, FL, GA, LA, MD, MS, MT, NV, NY, PA, TX, UT and WV.

In Texas, Delta Dental offers dental provider organization (DPO) plans.

Eligibility

You must be a licensed, practicing dentist meeting our credentialing requirements.

Request a participation packet

You can expect to receive a participation packet within 10 business days.

Review & accept PPO fee schedule

Once you have received the packet and reviewed the PPO fee schedule, you must agree to accept payment according to the lesser of the fee you submit on claims or the fee shown on the schedule.

This is our HMO-type prepaid closed network dental plan.

Compensation

Competitive compensation includes monthly capitation payments for each enrollee assigned to an office and procedural guarantees for commonly utilized procedures.

These are our fee-for-service and HMO Medicare Advantage plans.
 

Compensation

Our fee-for-service Medicare Advantage network dentists receive payment based on the PPO/DPO fee schedule, maximum contract allowance or amount submitted to Delta Dental, whichever is lower.

Our HMO Medicare Advantage network dentists receive competitive compensation. This includes capitation payments for each enrollee assigned to an office and procedural guarantees for commonly utilized procedures.
 

States included in the network

Delta Dental partners with Medicare Advantage plans nationwide.  By joining our fee-for-service or HMO Medicare Advantage networks, you’ll have access to treat Delta Dental’s Medicare Advantage members.  
 

Eligibility

You must be a licensed, practicing dentist meeting our credentialing and Fraud, Waste and Abuse compliance requirements. To get started:

Request a participation packet

Send an email to ProviderConcierge@delta.org to request an HMO Medicare Advantage participation packet or medadv@delta.org to request a PPO Medicare Advantage participation packet. You can expect to receive your participation packet within 10 business days. 

Review & accept the Medicare Advantage fee schedule.

As with any other eligible patient with a PPO plan, you must agree to accept the lesser of your PPO contracted fee or the fee submitted on the claim.
