With phone, text or video, dentists can provide virtual consultation and diagnose emergency situations to determine if you need to schedule an in-person visit. Using virtual dentistry helps reduce the risk of exposure for you, your dentist and the office staff.

Delta Dental covers virtual dentistry services. Check your plan coverage for details, and contact your dental office to find out if virtual dentistry is available.

Delta Dental offers two virtual dentistry tools to members. For members looking for an in-depth diagnostic report from a Delta Dental dentist, Toothpic is a photo-based platform that gets you a response within 24 hours.

For members with more urgent needs or who want to speak with a Delta Dental dentist, Delta Dental – Virtual Consult is a video-based tool that lets you schedule an appointment with a dentist.
