Managing patient care
for select Medicare Advantage groups

Here’s what you need to know.

  • Delta Dental is partnering with SKYGEN, an expert in Medicare benefits administration, to help manage some Medicare Advantage groups. This partnership will help us streamline the overall patient experience.

What you need to know

As part of this partnership, there are new processes that affect patient and benefit administration for the following groups. Providers who treat patients from these plans need to take action. Visit these websites for more detailed information about the groups and their dental benefits.

California:

Nevada:

What’s new

  • You can now view patient eligibility, patient rosters, benefit details, processed claims and claims adjustments for these groups in Provider Tools. We are working on integrating claim submission into Provider Tools toward the end of 2026. Until then, you can use your clearinghouse or the Dental Hub, SKYGEN’s provider portal, to submit claims digitally for these groups. Find information on how to register in the Resources section on this page.
  • We’ve made updates to select sections of the Delta Dental PPO and DeltaCare USA provider handbooks.
  • For support or questions about any of these Medicare Advantage groups, call 844-760-2538.

Payment delivery

  • You’ll receive a notice with your paper check payment that outlines the available payment methods, giving you time to review your options. You’ll need to select how you would like to receive future payments. Please review these options carefully, as some payment methods include fees if you are currently enrolled with Zelis, a payment solutions company used by SKYGEN.
  • The payment method you select will apply to all future payments for these groups, including capitation (DeltaCare USA) and claims.
  • Patient rosters for DeltaCare USA providers will be sent monthly via mail and accessible digitally via Provider Tools.

What stays the same

  • Your Delta Dental PPO and DeltaCare USA compensation won’t change.
  • Use Provider Tools or call Delta Dental for any demographic changes for your practice.
  • Delta Dental will continue to manage your credentialing and recredentialing.
