If you are part of the DeltaCare® USA Medicare Advantage network, members from our health plan partners may select your practice as their primary care dental facility.

Delta Dental has partnered with the following Medicare Advantage health plans to provide dental coverage for members:

What else do you need to know

  • Kern Health Plan, Elite Health Plan and UCLA Health Medicare Advantage Plan will be managed by SKYGEN, an expert in Medicare Advantage benefits management and administration. The benefit administration process for these groups is different. Please visit our Medicare admin page for information as it differs from other groups.
  • Patients may state they have coverage from the above health plans (instead of Delta Dental) and may present their Medicare Advantage plan name and/or ID card. That means they’re likely to have Delta Dental. Please log in to Provider Tools to check eligibility (except for plans administered by SKYGEN). The patient's Medicare Advantage health plan ID number can be used to locate the patient within Provider Tools.
  • Services for these Medicare Advantage groups are only covered if you are part of DeltaCare USA Medicare Advantage network. Please check eligibility and benefits prior to treatment.
  • Benefit coverage for these groups may have changed. Before discussing treatment options, make sure to verify current year benefit details.
     

Reducing patient concerns and increasing satisfaction with your practice and their plan
 

  • Submit a pre-treatment estimate to Delta Dental to help patients understand their coverage and any associated costs.
  • Review all services with patients to make sure they know what’s covered, and ask them to sign a financial responsibility form before performing any procedures.
