Don’t forget about re-credentialing

Check your mail: You may be up for re-credentialing, and it’s important to complete this process to continue Delta Dental network participation.

Every three years, Delta Dental must confirm that the dentists in our network are professionally qualified based on federal and state standards.

About 90 to 180 days before it’s time for you to re-credential with Delta Dental, you’ll receive a letter about the upcoming deadline along with a form to help you get started. Complete and return the re-credentialing form (including any required documents) promptly. The process should take no longer than 60 days to complete.

If your credentials expire, we’ll have to terminate your contract as a Delta Dental network dentist. You’ll be able to re-apply to join under the terms of our most current dentist agreement if you meet the credentialing criteria. Your contract might not be the same as before, so don’t wait.

If you have any questions, please contact Provider Concierge at providerconcierge@delta.org.
