Plans generally include preventive care (like exams and cleanings), basic services (fillings, extractions) and major services (crowns, bridges, dentures). Coverage details depend on the plan you choose and where you live. If you’re already enrolled, refer to your plan documents for details.

Most preventive services are covered from day one. Some basic or major services may have waiting periods depending on the plan and state.

  • PPO plans let you see any dentist and save more with network providers.
  • DeltaCare USA plans require you to choose a network dentist and they offer fixed copays for covered services.

Yes! If your dentist is in the Delta Dental PPO or DeltaCare USA network. You can search for your dentist by name or ZIP code, or use our Find a Dentist search tool.

Not for PPO plans. DeltaCare USA plans may require a referral, depending on your state and the service needed. If you’re already enrolled, refer to your plan documents for details.

Just choose your state, compare available plans and enroll online or by phone. Coverage for most preventive services starts the first of the next month.
