Delta Dental is committed to being a trusted partner to the dental community.
We’re focused on reducing administrative barriers, strengthening coordination of care and supporting providers’ clinical work, so they can spend less time navigating processes and more time delivering high-quality care to their patients.
Providers have shared how important digital solutions are in helping them run their practices efficiently. That’s why we’ve focused on a digital-first approach to solving provider needs, supplying dental practices with intuitive tools to provide a seamless and efficient experience for both staff and patients.
We continue to partner closely with providers to streamline processes, improve coordination of care and build systems that support high-quality care.
We’ve invested in digital tools like Provider Tools to simplify workflows and help practices run more smoothly. These tools make it easier to check eligibility, submit claims and get support, so providers can spend more time with patients.
Based on provider feedback, we continually work to improve our digital solutions. We’re always listening to provider feedback on how to improve processes, design and communication.
Our next step toward a connected, digital-first system will be in how we pay providers. For years, we’ve received positive feedback on our payment timeliness, and we have an opportunity to do better together. That’s why we are making electronic funds transfer (EFT) our standard method of payment starting January 1, 2027. Get the facts on the advantages of EFT and common misconceptions.
For Delta Dental of California providers and our affiliates, getting started with EFT is quick and convenient, and there's no better time than now. By enrolling in Provider Tools, you'll benefit from simple, fast, reliable payments. For other states not affiliated, please enroll with your local Delta Dental and opt-in for national share.

Modernizing provider payments is just one part of building a connected, digital-first system. These improvements support practice sustainability, integrated care delivery and better experiences for patients and providers.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership as we continue improving the systems that support care today and help shape the future of oral health.
