The American Dental Association’s CDT procedure codes and nomenclature have been updated for 2025. This update includes 10 new codes, 12 revised codes, two deletions and several policy revisions.

Be sure to review  our summary of changes and claims processing policies (PDF), and start using the 2025 codes on any claims submitted to Delta Dental for services performed on or after January 1, 2025. This summary also includes updates to our policies for the following codes:

• 3D dental surface scan – indirect (D0802)
• Application of hydroxyapatite regeneration medicament – per tooth (D2991)
• Remove broken implant retaining screw (D6096)
