Delta Dental engages with Provider Advisory Council members in Austin, TX

From April 30 through May 2, Leading and select Contributing tier members of Delta Dental’s Provider Advisory Council (PAC) got together in Austin, Texas to network, meet our senior leadership, discuss the future of the dental industry and have their voices heard. The PAC is made up of a representative population of Delta Dental providers, and it acts as a forum for us to hear from providers and to directly share information.

Across the three days of the conference, attendees participated in:

  • Discussions of Delta Dental’s purpose and vision by our new CEO and President, Sarah Chavarria
  • Small group sessions on the integration of medical and oral health, value-based care and education of patients
  • Updates on the progress of our key programs, including the top identified opportunities for strengthening our partnership, such as real-time access to member benefits and claims processing
  • A session on topics and questions submitted directly by PAC members

Attendees also got to explore the city and relax, with live music, a food tour and more.

We want to give a big ‘thank you’ to the members of the PAC who attended the Austin conference. The PAC conference demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our partnership with dentists and their staff and making improvements to our processes and systems. A big focus for us this year is growing and evolving the ways we listen to feedback, and the PAC is an essential component of that.

If you want to get involved with the PAC and help shape the future of dentistry, don’t worry. We’re opening up applications to join again soon, and as we approach the one-year anniversary of the PAC’s founding, there will be more opportunities to connect face-to-face and have your voice heard.
