One sign-on, many advantages

Did you know, when you create a Provider Tools account, you’re not just creating an account for one specific Delta Dental network? You’re creating a single sign-on or SSO account that will work across all of Delta Dental’s sites.

That means you can use Provider Tools to do easy nationwide searches for patients’ eligibility and benefits. Whether your patient has Delta Dental PPO™, DeltaCare® USA or any coverage at all with Delta Dental, you’ll be able to find their eligibility and benefits info in one convenient place.

Why it matters

Many patients carry Delta Dental insurance, but may not know the specific Delta Dental member company their plan is administered through. That’s important because Delta Dental isn’t a single national company. it’s a network made up of multiple independent regional member companies such as:
 

  • Delta Dental of California
  • Delta Dental of Washington
  • Delta Dental of Michigan

 ...and many more.

While they’re all under the Delta Dental Plans Association, each company operating in different states has its own customer service teams, provider networks and plan structures. Which means a dentist or staff member can't verify eligibility or benefits unless they know the correct Delta Dental region the patient belongs to.
