The Community Care Network (CCN)

The Community Care Network (CCN) is the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) network for Veterans. CCN is VA's direct link with community providers to ensure eligible Veterans receive timely, high-quality care. VA contracts with TriWest to manage CCN Regions 4 and 5. CCN Region 4 includes the western states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, and the U.S. territories in the Pacific, including Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Region 5 is the state of Alaska.​

CCN on-demand training is found on Availity and covers topics like claims and authorizations. Access TriWest’s Payer Space, click on TriWest Learning Center, and navigate to the Dental Learning Path.


The HealthShare Referral Manager (HSRM) is a secure, online VA system used to transfer important health information from VA to providers participating in CCN. Providers can use HSRM to view referrals and authorizations.

The Train2Serve platform is a TriWest resource designed to offer VA training to CCN providers. Use Train2Serve to take VA-authorized opioid training and military culture training, provided by PsycheArmor.
